Let's all celebrate the Month of the Military Child in April 2024! This month is bursting with excitement and you won't want to miss a moment of the action! On April 6, immerse yourself in creativity at Crafternoon, where you can finally tackle those unfinished projects or embark on new ones in a supportive atmosphere filled with crafting possibilities. Plus, parents, take advantage of Give Parents a Break happening simultaneously, offering you the chance to drop off the little ones and indulge in some much-needed crafting time. As National Library Week kicks off on April 8, join us at the Base Library's Open House from 11 am to 1 pm for a celebration of all things literary, complete with a FREE lunch (while it lasts, hurry!) and the opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring 2024 Total Eclipse with a limited supply of provided eclipse glasses. But the excitement doesn't stop there! On April 13, don't miss the 26th Annual Family Festival of Fun, featuring games, crafts, a petting zoo, pony rides, delicious food, and culminating in a blast of fun at the Color Run at 2 pm. With so much to see and do as we transition from spring to summer, April promises unforgettable moments and endless fun for the whole family!
